Doorstep is a software platform that helps delivery drivers navigate the final steps to their destinations. The technology provides visualization and information that’s far more precise than what GPS offers, saving time and money.
“Ben and other team members at The Hatchery were an invaluable sounding board. They helped me think through what was not working, and why. And I learned to become iterative about prototype applications and trial processes.
“The Goizueta Startup Accelerator was a predecessor to The Hatchery — I basically started there with an idea on a napkin. I got to speak to industry folks and got lots of encouragement and advice. Later, I created a ‘minimum viable product,’ which helped build early traction and conviction in the idea and the problem.
“I was able to use my Hatchery stipend to help pay bills, and I even lived over at Emory Point, just a few floors above The Hatchery.”
